Ferruccio Giannini began his racing career in 1969, firstly as a privateer riding Ducati, A.J.S. and Bultaco road racers. In 1973 he joined AMOL Precision's factory B.M.W. racing team as Oscar Liebmann's assistant preparing

Giannini Racing has captured 10 WERA #1 Plates, 4 Canadian Championships 2 FIM Championships as well as over 100 first place finishes in WERA, AHRMA, USCRA and VRRA.

The team quickly grew in notoriety and soon was asked to campaign factory racing for Honda's and works Bultaco's from Cemoto East. Giannini became the team leader, head mechanic, as well as one of the main riders. The Team AMOL Precision Racing won many A.M.A., A.A.M.R.R. and Canadian Championships competing in almost every class. With the Legend rider Kurt Liebmann, Ferruccio Giannini and Fred Simone AMOL Precision Racing was one of the foremost racing teams until the early 80's. Ferruccio Giannini is now the head of Giannini Racing, a vintage Team of 5 riders numerous mechanics and assistants that compete nation wide with AHRMA, WERA, USCRA and VRRA of Canada.
