| Giannini Racing presents the fabulous R-2
Mini Moto racer. Built with the latest technology available, this masterpiece
of engineering pushes the R-2 Mini Moto to the front of the line with regard
to innovative design incorporated into this extraordinary racer. A newly designed
frame made of air craft quality titanium tubing, tig welded and stress relieved,
makes the R-2 the only mini moto in production today that uses this extremely
special technology. Hand built by craftsmen that are certified air frame
welders this frame is a delight to look at. Weighing only 4 lbs 12 oz it
is the core of the new R-2 around which an extraordinary racer is constructed.
Fitted with stainless grade 5 hardware and billet aluminum pieces including
triple trees, brake mounting plates, and foot peg brackets, Giannini spares
no cost in producing this king of racers. Stainless seamless ground tubing
fitted with billet fork bottoms make the front one of the strongest in the
business. The engine selected for the R-2 is a ZPF based crankcase with a new Polini based top end manufactured by Giannini Racing. Each engine is hand built at the Giannini factory to exacting standards and tested for proper operation prior to be fitted into the new R-2 frame. There will be 3 versions of this engine produced for fitment into the new bike: 1. a three port water cooled super production version; 2. a five port 40cc water cooled open racer; 3. a five port 50cc fully modified engine for the experienced rider. The Body - last but not leased the R-2 will be covered with an ultra light carbon fiber faring, gas tank, seat and fenders.
